About Us

We are a fully insured and licensed fishing guide service specializing in walleye fishing on the Wisconsin River with over 50 years of combined experience chasing walleyes. We also target crappies, perch, bluegills and bass on the river from Stevens Point south through the Petenwell Flowage and Wisconsin Dells. There are many smaller lakes in central Wisconsin with awesome opportunities for walleyes and panfish that we target as well. All equipment is provided. Just bring a lunch, appropriate clothing for the weather, a Wisconsin fishing license and a positive attitude and an open mind!

We can also do shore lunches with advanced notice!

We’ll do everything possible to get you some fish for a fish fry with your family or to try to get that trophy of a lifetime!

Thomas Droste

My name is Thomas Droste. I am 37 years old. I have over 20 years of experience fishing walleyes and various other species found around central Wisconsin. I am an avid tournament angler and also the tournament manager for the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit and National Walleye Tour. I was also the tournament director for the Team Walleye Guys - Walleye Series for four years. I also fished this tournament series and have taken a 1st place and 3rd place Team of the Year finishes. I have fished the AIM Weekend Walleye Series for three years, competing against some of the best anglers in the Midwest. I am a family man first and foremost. When I’m not fishing, I’m spending time at home with my beautiful wife, Christina and six year old daughter, Gabriella. I am a retired United States Army combat veteran with over 20 years of service. My last assignment was in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as the Field Artillery Chief Instructor at the Wisconsin Military Academy.

I would like the opportunity to show you the techniques and lessons I have learned from my years of experience on the water chasing walleyes, crappies, bluegills, perch, bass, and other fish. I want to help you have a safe and enjoyable time on the water and maybe catch that trophy fish of a lifetime!

Bill Borcherdt

Hi my name is Bill Borcherdt. I have over 30 years of fishing experience from Lake Winnebago, where I grew up, to the Stevens Point area where I now live. Although I specialize in fishing the Wisconsin River and the bodies of water that it flow into it, I have tournament fished across the entire Midwest. My fishing career has taken me to South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, and Canada as well. I take my fishing very seriously but, don’t get me wrong, there is never a shortage of fun and jokes when you are in my boat!

With that being said, whether you are a tournament angler or a novice that just wants to get out, or learn more about the world’s greatest sport it would be my privilege to get you out on the water.
